However...
It must be stated that Gus will forever reign as the #1 dog in my heart.
Also, it is quite evident that I am the better dog owner in this dog blog relationship. Poor Bear.

So, i've finally figured out what Gus does when everyone is away.
I just got home from work to find him lounging on the couch watching the Simple Life.
Quite frankly, I expected better from him.
I've always seen him as an America's Next Top Model kinda-guy.
Or at least the kind of dog that would smoke a pipe while watching tv.
Also, Gus was sprayed by a skunk and will forever smell like a dog-shampoo-tomato-juice-dog-smell-skunk combo.

ps: I love Gus. Gus 4 Life.
